The Alaska Chess Federation, in partnership with the Alaska Chinese Association, has worked diligently to bring the Alaskan chess playing community another Summer time over the board opportunity. This year we are proud to announce the rare opportunity to play a Grandmaster, live and in person, in Anchorage on Saturday, July 25th.&nbsp; This simultaneous exhibition event will have the first 50 participates play against GM Samy Shoker, one move at time, as he attempts to break his career record of the most players beaten at the same time. GM Shoker will kick off the event with a educational lecture with the opportunity for questions at the end. The lecture is followed-up with time allotted for photos and book signing opportunities. Then the main event will commence in the afternoon and finish in the evening.
