ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: In accordance with these Official Rules, ALL DONORS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF DONATION, to be entered into the drawing. In addition, donations made online are limited to persons located within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the time of donation. Chances may not be transferred to ineligible parties. This drive is void where prohibited by law.  HOW TO PARTICIPATE: You may make a donation using our online portal between June 22, 2025, and June 30, 2025. Tax deductible donations for which the donor is not interested in receiving a chance to win Savannah Bananas tickets in exchange for their donation can be made by selecting "0" chances of winning, and adding a donation for South Shore Seahawks Inc below, and may also be mailed to: South Shore Seahawks Youth Hockey, P.O. Box 784, Norwell, MA 02061. No mailed donations are eligible to receive a chance in exchange. ENTRY DEADLINE: All donations in which the donor wats to receive a change to win Savannah Bananas tickets must be completed by 11:55pm on June 30th to be included in the final drawing.  SELECTION OF WINNER: Drawing will be held on July 1st. Please see Seahawks social media for potential opportunities to view the drawing live, and winners will be notified by email and posted on social channels. Drawing will be conducted using paper tickets ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning a prize depends upon the total number of chances distributed. There is no limit on the total number of donations that can be made in exchange for chances. NO PURCHASE REQUIRED: All donations are just that - donations. INELIGIBLE PARTIES: The following parties are ineligible to participate in the drawing and shall not be entitled to collect a prize of any kind: (a) any person under the age of 18; (b) any person who is located outside of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the time of purchase. Should the Board of Directors of the Seahawks, in its sole discretion, determine that a donation has been made by, or transferred to, an Ineligible Party, the purchase shall be void, the entry removed from the drawing, and the purchaser will not be entitled to a refund. DONATION OF PRIZE: Should the holders of the winning chance be unable to attend the Savannah Bananas game, they should notify the South Shore Seahawks immediately. In the case the donor will be provided with a tax deductible receipt in exchange for their original donation, and an alternate winner will be drawn from the pot of chances. TAXES: The Internal Revenue Service takes the position that no portion of the donation make in exchange for a chance will qualify as a charitable contribution for income tax purposes. Moreover, the Internal Revenue Service and the MA Department of Revenue, the jurisdiction in which this drawing is being conducted, treat the value of prizes won in a drawing as ordinary income for tax purposes. Any taxes that may be due are the sole responsibility of the winner. Please consult with your tax advisor to determine what your personal tax liability would be should you win the prize.
