Green Space Romeo is teaming up with Michigoat to bring in a herd of hardworking goats to tackle invasive plant species. For three days, 30 goats will call the church property home, grazing on invasive vegetation that threatens the health of the local ecosystem. This method uses targeted grazing to restore balance to the land in a sustainable, low-impact way. Goats are remarkably effective at clearing invasive plants, including privet and honeysuckle. They can navigate difficult terrain, consume dense overgrowth, and fertilize the soil as they graze&mdash;making them a powerful, all-in-one restoration solution.
