Ryozen Tateba, one of the leading experts of Goeika chanting in Japan. &nbsp; Many of us remember Ryozen-sensei as the instructor of the Siddham calligraphy course and most recently as the headliner of the Ryozen Matsuri in May. This time, the beloved teacher will lead us through six, 2-hour Goeika classes, during which we will learn about the origin and the meaning of Goeika and how they are used in the Shingon practice. By the end of the course, we will be able to chant several most popular Goeika pieces. No prior experience is needed. We will use the Buddhist implements for this class. You could either purchase/lease them from our temple, or if you are local, come to the temple and use them there.&nbsp; The class will be held at 3-5&nbsp;pm, Pacific, on every 4th Saturday of the month, starting on Nov. 28, 2026 and ending in April 2027. (There maybe some date change depending on Ryozen-sensei&#39;s schedule).
