Fee for the grafting class is $25 for members, $35 for non-members. If If you are registering as a non-member, please add a $10 donation per ticket at checkout (tax-deductible).  You may join in order to receive member prices.  This class is free if you have taken a grafting class from Mike in the last year.

Grafting class

Fee for the pruning class is $15 for members, $25 for non-members.  If If you are registering as a non-member, please add a $10 donation per ticket at checkout (tax-deductible). Joining now will give you non-member pricing. 

Pruning class

Membership is $20 if you are 65 or older.  Please contact us if you would like to join at this membership level.  Memberships are per individual or family residing in the same household. You will be emailed a membership application if you select this option.

Welcome to the world of grafting! &nbsp;Grafting is such a fun and satisfying method of increasing your collection of fruit trees. We will spend the morning learning how to bench graft and talking about other types of grafting. &nbsp;You will practice and the actually graft a scion onto a rootstock, and this grafted tree will follow you home. &nbsp;Before leaving for the day, you will have the opportunity of selecting some scion to take with you to complete more grafts on your own. After lunch, we will move on to pruning. &nbsp;Mike has a wonderful orchard with trees of all types - apple, pear, plum, peach, apricot - and he will talk about and demonstrate pruning hows and whys for most, if not all, of these.&nbsp; I have taken both of these classes before and found them extremely helpful. Mike is a wealth of information! Once you have registered and paid, you will receive an email with more info, including the address for the class, carpooling options, reading material, and some general info..
