Grandparents Interupted - Six week October group

When an adult child becomes estranged, grandparents can experience a second devastating loss—the loss of connection with their grandchildren. For the Family Foundation’s Grandparent Support Group is a welcoming space for grandparents navigating family estrangement, limited contact, or the loss of a relationship with their grandchildren. Together, we’ll talk about the grief and uncertainty that come with estrangement, how to manage difficult family dynamics, how to stay grounded when you have little control over the situation, and how to move forward without giving up hope. This is a place to be understood, connect with other grandparents who truly get it, and learn practical ways to care for yourself while keeping the door open to the relationships you love. This group will run for 6 weeks.
