Affordable Access Registration

General Description:&nbsp;Join us for a Shifting Gears gravel ride as we explore scenic backroads and mixed-surface routes in a supportive, all-women environment. Like our road rides, these are no-drop group rides focused on building confidence, working through challenges, and enjoying the journey together. This scenic gravel ride begins in Sedro-Woolley and follows the Cascade Trail along the Skagit River, offering a relatively smooth double track through lush forest and farmland. The out-and-back route to Rasar State Park covers roughly 30 miles round trip with minimal elevation gain (200 ft), making it approachable for a wide range of riders.&nbsp; This is considered our Intermediate gravel ride. Expect a relaxed, social pace with beautiful river views, shaded stretches, and plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery. Any bike that can ride on hard packed gravel is welcome. Personal Preparation: Trip leaders will be spread out throughout the group to make sure everyone stays on route and is doing well. We recommend checking out your bike to make sure things seem to be in good working order before showing up for the ride, and we can help you with some of those issues on the morning of the event &ndash; if they aren&rsquo;t too serious. If you don&rsquo;t ride regularly, it may be wise to hop on your bike a bit beforehand so that you feel more comfortable.
