Guardians of the Children, Big Sandy Chapter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up entirely of volunteers who use motorcycles as tools to help children who have endured abuse find their courage, confidence, and voice again. Our mission is to recognize and react to child abuse, educate the public to do the same, serve as advocates by providing strength and stability to families in crisis, and be an answer to the prayers of abused children and teens seeking courage, support, and protection. Because of supporters like you, we are able to walk alongside our Little Guardians during some of their most difficult moments; including standing with them in court so they never have to face their abuser alone. Your support also allows us to continuously train our members to be the strongest, most prepared Guardians possible, host awareness events that educate and protect our community, and provide our Little Guardians with essential gear, resources, and everyday needs that remind them they are seen, valued, and safe. In addition, sponsorships and raffle support make it possible for us to create moments of joy&mdash;birthday celebrations, ice cream socials, summer gatherings, and a Christmas party&mdash;giving these children the opportunity to smile, connect, and simply be kids.
