Welcome to the 1st Annual Hanalei School PTA Pickleball Tournament at Princeville Makai Golf Club. Players need to be checked in 30 minutes before their event begins. If you are playing on multiple days you need to check-in on each day of your events.  FormatAll brackets will be round robin format; games are to 15 points (switching sides when a team hits 8 points) and winners need to win by 2 points. Playoffs will be the top 4 teams per division.  The finals will be 2 out 3 games to 11 points (switching sides when a team hits 6 points).  To determine who enters the playoffs at the end of the round robin, if teams are tied, the tie breaker will be as follows:<ol><li>Games won</li><li>Points won</li><li>Head to head </li></ol> * The format is subject to change depending on how many teams register and the weather. ** If a ball hits a crack on the court, the point should NOT be replayed.  We are switching sides mid-game so this should make it fair for everyone and create the least amount of disputes.   Prizes/Medals1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a medal per division.  Additionally, we will have prizes for 1st place winners.  Tournament Fee/WaiverThe $100 fee was collected when you registered for the tournament (thank you!), as well as the <a href="http://www.hanaleipta.org/pickleball-tournament-waiver" target="_blank">waiver</a>.   BallsOne Franklin X-40 Outdoor Ball will be provided for each match. You will need to return your ball with your score card at the end of each match or your score will not be recorded. There will be no extra balls available for warm up/practice. Practice CourtsThere will be two courts designated for practice/warm-up. Food/WaterFree coffee and snacks will be provided for players in the morning.  Free lunch will also be provided to players around 11:30am each day.  There are two filtered water stations available. Additionally, there is food available for purchase at the Makai Grill.  Kid ZoneWe will have a free kid zone open to all keiki sponsored by Camp Palai.  They will have a tattoo station, cow patty toss, roping, yard games and more!   Hanalei School AuctionWe will have a small auction which will include jewelry, photography packages, pickleball paddles and more.  Come ready to bid!   Hanalei School Merchandise We will have the Hanalei School merchandise available for purchase.  This includes hats, t-shirts, water bottles and more!  Come ready to shop! ParkingThere is parking available at the Makai Golf Course (4080 Lei O Papa Rd, Princeville, HI 96722).   If needed, overflow parking is available at Bali Hai (4970 Pepelani Loop, Princeville, HI 96722).
