Mu Sigma is the sponsoring chapter of Beta Alpha at Southern University, Gamma Pi at LSU, Pi Iota at Southeastern Louisiana University, and Delta Xavier University &ndash; New Orleans. The Beta Alpha chapter will also be celebrating 80 years of service on the Southern University campus this year. For 80 years, the Mu Sigma Chapter has supported the Baton Rouge area youth with our annual Youth Symposium, our Rhoer and Rhosebud affiliate clubs for girls ages 8-17, and academic scholarships for graduating high school seniors and current college students. Our Women&rsquo;s Wellness initiatives throughout the year, our annual Diaper Drive, and the March of Dimes campaign show our dedication to women and families. Annually, we donate to and participate in the St. Jude and Sickle Cell Anemia Walks. Through our partnerships with the NAACP and the Greater Baton Rouge National Pan-Hellenic Council, we hold voter education and registration events.
