At Villalobos, we care for over 500 dogs every single day. 500 dogs who rely on us for safety, food, medical care… and protection from diseases that could take their lives. One of the biggest threats they face is heartworm disease. Heartworms slowly invade a dog’s heart and lungs. They cause pain, organ damage, and if untreated… they can be deadly. The hardest part? Heartworm disease is completely preventable. But when you’re protecting 500+ dogs every single month, the cost of prevention becomes overwhelming so we have relaunched our “HAVE A HEART” Heartworm Prevention Program The idea would be a monthly program where supporters could help cover prevention for the dogs. We know one thing for sure… Preventing heartworms means protecting hearts that have already been through so much. With 500+ dogs depending on us, every idea, every voice, and every bit of support helps us figure out the best way forward. Because this village has always been the reason Villalobos can do what we do. ❤️🐾 Have a Heart. Save a Heart.
