Membership Pledge Benefit ProgramTo further our mission and guarantee a swift and efficient response to hazardous materials emergencies, Hazmat 2 Environmental Fire Rescue Company proudly offers a Membership Pledge Benefit Program for both residents and businesses in Lancaster County.Donors receive benefits based on the pledge benefit fee schedule:Membership Pledge Benefits<ul><li>Service Coverage: The Service Coverage benefit includes Unit Hours of hazardous materials emergency response services provided by Hazmat 2 within its jurisdiction. The number of Unit Hours included is determined by the tier of the Pledge selected. </li><li>Discount: The benefit includes a Response Fee DIscount offered by Hazmat 2. The tier of the Pledge selected determines the discount amount. </li><li>No Consumables Included: Costs for consumables (e.g., absorbents, neutralizing agents, personal protective equipment, etc) are not covered by the pledge benefits and will be itemized separately from Unit hours. </li><li>Household,  Business, and Insurance Company  Inclusion: The pledge benefit applies to all permanent residents of a household or covers a specific business location, ensuring that the designated address is fully protected. Transportation Businesses and Insurance Companies are subject to separately negotiated terms.  </li></ul>Terms and Conditions<ol><li>Eligibility: The pledge benefit is available to all residents and businesses within Lancaster County, as well as to insurance companies covering businesses that provide physical services within the county.</li><li>Coverage Area:  Services are provided within the geographical boundaries of Lancaster County.</li><li>Effective Date: Discount eligibility begins two business days after the pledge is received and remains active for one year from the payment date. </li><li>Renewal: Pledge benefits must be renewed annually. </li><li>Service Scope: The pledge benefit covers response services for hazardous materials incidents, with access to hazmat and fire rescue services on a pre-arranged, yearly basis. The scope of this service includes emergency response, including but not limited to hazardous material spills, containment, mitigation and stabilization efforts, for the tier of the Pledge determines the number of hours included.</li><li>Exclusions: <ul><li>The pledge benefit does not cover non-emergency services, incidents outside Lancaster County, or services provided by agencies other than Hazmat 2.</li><li>Consumables used during responses are billed separately.</li></ul></li></ol> <ol><li>Additional Fees: Any response time exceeding the included unit hours will be billed in accordance with the South-Central Task Force HMRT Cost Recovery Agreement Fee Schedule. </li><li>Insurance Billing: Hazmat 2 will bill your insurance provider for services rendered upon request. However, this does not alter the financial responsibility of the responsible parties, as outlined in Pennsylvania Act 165 (Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Cost Recovery Act).</li></ol> <ol><li>Refunds:  Pledges are non-refundable. </li><li>Changes to Terms: Hazmat 2 reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the pledge benefit program at its discretion.
