Topics will include common Islamic beliefs and practices, modesty and gender considerations, dietary needs, prayer, fasting, family involvement, end-of-life concerns, and other aspects of culturally sensitive patient care.The presentation will be led by Dr. Muhammad N. Haq, Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Houston and Imam at ASIA Center.Healthcare workers, medical professionals, students, educators, and anyone interested in learning more are welcome.
