Singers: Tomás Cadena and Jorge Negrete (from Los Angeles, CA) Two traveling voices meet to celebrate the music born from the heart of our people. Tomás Cadena and Jorge Negrete, singers from Los Angeles, California, join their paths to explore three sonic landscapes that have shaped generations: the reflective depth of Nueva Trova, the luminous intimacy of the Bolero, and the endearing power of the Canción Ranchera. In this concert, every song is a bridge between shared stories, roots, and emotions. The guitars converse, the voices intertwine, and the stage becomes a space where nostalgia, tenderness, and courage find their place. Heartbeats of Our Land is a musical journey that honors memory, celebrates identity, and reminds us that when two voices unite, the soul of the people sings even louder. Nueva Trova is a song that thinks. A guitar that poses questions and ignites memories. Its verses walk between tenderness and rebellion, speaking of love, of life, and of what hurts, with the honesty of one who sings to awaken. Bolero is the night turned into music. A whisper that embraces, a wound that shines. Its melodies move slowly, like one who fears breaking a memory, and its lyrics hold the tremor of a love that is sought, lost, and born again in every note. Canción Ranchera is an open heart. It is the voice that rises without fear to say what burns: the love that overflows, the pride that sustains, the sadness that is sung so as not to fall. It is roots, it is earth, it is strength shared through a pure, raw cry.
