It&#39;s Piglet&#39;s first birthday and her birthday wish? Donations to the rescue that saved her of course! All proceeds go towards not just Piglet but all the animals in our care, for things like medical care, food, cleaning supplies and more!One year ago today, a little kitten named Piglet came into the world fighting. She and her sister were rushed to us the day after they were born. Their mother had likely abandoned them after delivering them two weeks prematurely, and both babies had visible birth defects and were struggling to survive.They were incredibly fragile, and sadly, Piglet&rsquo;s sister passed away at just two weeks old. We hoped Piglet&rsquo;s issues would be minor and mostly cosmetic, but as she grew, more challenges appeared. Piglet was born with missing toes, no tail, and spinal deformities, and she quickly showed us she does not handle change or strangers, especially vets, well at all.Some of her bone deformities improved with age, but later we discovered she also has a severe heart defect. Between her medical needs and her diva attitude, it became clear Piglet wasn&rsquo;t going to be adoptable. So she became a beloved &quot;Fospice&quot; cat, living out her days, however long or short they may be, in her foster home on a pain management plan.And today&hellip;PIGLET IS&nbsp;ONE YEAR OLD.&nbsp; A milestone we weren&rsquo;t sure she&rsquo;d ever reach.To celebrate her birthday, we&rsquo;re hosting a fundraiser for the month of September!
