Together we&#39;ll learn the foundations of herbal remedy making, featuring medicinal plants growing at El Paseo Community Garden. Through hands-on learning, participants will create a calming herbal tincture and prepare a nourishing herbal tea blend. As part of our practice, each participant will also prepare a small herbal remedy for someone else in our community and include a handwritten message of hope. In reclaiming the traditions our ancestors carried, we remember that care was not only made for ourselves, it was made to share with family, neighbors, and anyone in need. No prior herbal experience is necessary. All materials are provided.
