Join our tour guides as they lead you by lantern light through this circa 1820 cemetery, where you will meet characters in period costume. Our 9th consecutive year! Through the captivating stories of former residents of Pine Plains, told in soliloquy and in song, you will learn about their lives and about the history of this rural community and the world beyond. A fun and educational event from the Little Nine Partners Historical Society, with help from the Pine Plains Free Library and the costuming dept. of the Stissing Theatre Guild. FAQsDo you have a special tour for mobility-impaired?We&#39;re sorry, we are not offering it this year.Please note that wheelchairs and walkers are not allowed on the tours because of the rough terrain and limited lighting.Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?Parking is free and (except for the limited mobility tour) available along Maple Street and North Main Street, adjacent to the cemetery. A parking attendant will direct you. Your tour will begin at 19 Maple Street (next door to The Pines).What can I bring/not bring into the event?Cameras and flashlights are welcome. No flash photography, and cell phones must be silenced.
