Hoʻihoʻi i ke Ola Reentry SummitHoʻihoʻi i ke Ola is a statewide gathering dedicated to reimagining successful reentry by bringing together justice-impacted individuals and families, service providers, employers, educators, policymakers, community leaders, and advocates. Rooted in Native Hawaiian values, the summit recognizes that reentry is more than returning home&mdash;it is a journey of restoring dignity, reconnecting with ʻohana, rebuilding purpose, and strengthening communities.Centered on the themes Hoʻi i ke kaiāulu. Hoʻi i ka ʻohana. Hoʻi i ke ola. (Return to community. Return to family. Return to a life of purpose.), the summit offers a day of inspiration, learning, collaboration, resources, and opportunity. Participants will hear from nationally and locally recognized guest speakers, as well as justice-impacted individuals and families who will share powerful firsthand stories of resilience, healing, and transformation. Through these lived experiences, alongside interactive workshops and cross-sector discussions, attendees will explore innovative practices, build meaningful partnerships, and identify solutions that remove barriers to successful reintegration.Together, we will examine what successful reentry truly looks like and create pathways that support healing, belonging, economic opportunity, and long-term well-being for individuals, families, and our communities.
