We will gather to honor the millions of Ukrainians who perished during the Holodomor, the man-made famine of 1932–1933. For Ukrainian families, this is more than a historical event. It is a deeply personal part of our history, and we believe it is important to preserve the truth and share these stories with future generations. This year's program will feature:Singer Oleksandra Pelitu, joined by young Ukrainian performers Catherine Krymer (vocals), Ustyna Honcharyk (piano), and Oleksandra Iegorova (piano). We are especially proud to see our young people take part in preserving Ukrainian history and culture through music. The event will also showcase artwork by Iana Nikutina, a Ukrainian artist based in Austin.Through music, art, and shared remembrance, we hope to bring our community together to honor the victims, recognize the lasting impact of the Holodomor, and ensure that this history is never forgotten.
