Homeschool P.E. (click for details)Give your child a fun, active way to build healthy habits, confidence, and friendships during the homeschool week! Our Homeschool PE class provides 2 hours of structured, high-energy physical activity in a positive and encouraging group environment.&nbsp; Students will participate in a variety of age-appropriate games, movement activities, fitness challenges, team-building exercises, and sports-based activities. Each class is designed to help children stay active while practicing important physical and social skills. Through movement and play, students can develop:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Coordination, agility, balance, and overall fitness</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Throwing, catching, running, and other fundamental movement skills</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Sportsmanship and respectful competition</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Confidence, perseverance, and the ability to handle both wins and losses</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Friendships and social connection with other homeschool students</li></ul>Our goal is to create a welcoming space where children of all skill levels can move their bodies, have fun, try new activities, and grow in confidence. Whether your child already loves sports or simply needs more opportunities for active play, this class offers a supportive PE-style experience built especially for homeschool families. Time and LocationPinehurst West Park: 12:00&ndash;1:00 PM (optional- free park/creek/nature play before PE class)Dodgeball: 1:15pm-3:15pm Meeting location: North entrance of Emmanuel Baptist Church.&nbsp;The church is locked for security. If you need let in call Bri 913-272-8784.&nbsp; The church is a short walk from Pinehurst West Park, where our group meets before dodgeball. If your family attends the park gathering beforehand, you may want to park on the south triangle of the parking lot and then drive farther up the parking lot to the North entrance of Emmanuel Baptist Church for PE. You are also welcome to come directly to PE and park near the North entrance. *If you go to the park and your kid is the type to HAVE to get wet in the creek I suggest a towel and a change of clothes before PE.
