One Dozen Ayam Cemani Hatching Eggs

Exceptional Genetics
Rare Indonesian Breed
Carefully Packed for Shipping

Add one of the most striking and sought-after chicken breeds in the world to your flock!
The Ayam Cemani originated in Indonesia and is famous for its extraordinary all-black appearance. Due to a genetic trait known as fibromelanosis, these remarkable birds display intense pigmentation throughout their feathers, skin, comb, wattles, bones, and internal tissues. Their jet-black feathers can develop a beautiful purple or emerald-green iridescent sheen in the sunlight, making them truly unforgettable.

Outstanding Genetic Lines

These are not just ordinary Ayam Cemani hatching eggs.

Our breeding flock has been carefully selected from impressive bloodlines:
Rooster: Feather Lovers Farm — 2023 Import Line
Hens: Sourced from Dan River Poultry, a highly regarded Ayam Cemani breeder in North Carolina

Our goal is to produce beautiful birds with the dark pigmentation and striking characteristics that make the Ayam Cemani such an incredible breed.

Packaging:

We take extra care when preparing your eggs for their journey. Each egg is securely packed in protective foam shipping inserts (“foamers”) and placed inside a USPS #4 shipping box to help reduce movement and protect the eggs during transit.

Important Hatching Egg Information:

Because hatching eggs are a living product and shipping conditions are outside of our control, hatch rates cannot be guaranteed. Transit conditions, handling, temperature fluctuations, incubation equipment, and incubation practices can all affect hatchability.

We package every order with care to give your eggs the best possible start on their journey.
If you’ve been looking to add quality Ayam Cemani genetics to your breeding program or begin raising this extraordinary breed, these eggs are an excellent place to start.

Shipping:

We cover the price of shipping. We ship hatching eggs Monday through Wednesday, depending upon the part of the country they are being shipped to. This reduces transit delays. We also do not ship eggs when the temperatures are extreme (nobody wants frozen or cooked hatching eggs). Shipments are made via USPS Priority Mail.

🐣 American Jackraptor Hatching Eggs from Winnie’s Minis ❤️

We are incredibly excited to introduce the American Jackraptor to Winnie’s Minis!

This auction includes 14 American Jackraptor hatching eggs from the original American Jackraptor project. This is not a project created by Winnie’s Minis. We are honored to be introducing these birds into Winnie’s Minis with the goal of continuing to breed, preserve, and share the unique work that the creator has spent years developing.

The American Jackraptor is a distinctive and exciting breeding project, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue the creator’s hard work and help preserve these genetics for future generations of breeders and homesteaders.

🥚 14 hatching eggs total

📦 SHIPPING:
Eggs will be shipped via UPS in mid-to-late spring, when weather conditions are appropriate for safely shipping hatching eggs. Eggs will be carefully packaged for shipment, and we will prioritize safe shipping conditions rather than rushing eggs out during unfavorable weather.

⚠️ HATCHING EGG DISCLAIMER:
Hatching eggs are a natural product, and fertility and hatch rates cannot be guaranteed. Shipping, handling, incubation, temperature, humidity, and other factors can affect the outcome of a hatch. We take great pride in the health and care of our birds and will send eggs from our healthy, actively breeding flock.

📸 PHOTO DISCLAIMER:
Winnie’s Minis has received permission directly from the creator of the American Jackraptor to use his images for this auction. The photos are being shared with permission to showcase the American Jackraptor project and are not represented as photographs of the specific eggs or chicks included in this auction. There is an image of our own as it grows into the amazing bird it was meant to be.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bring the American Jackraptor to Winnie’s Minis and look forward to continuing the creator’s hard work, preserving this unique project, and sharing it with fellow homesteaders and poultry enthusiasts. ❤️🐣

Ghost Face Cochins ❤️ By Winnie’s Minis

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to add Ghost Face Cochins to your flock! 🖤 Ghost Face is a line created and developed by Winnie’s Minis as part of our ongoing breeding projects.

These unique Cochins are expected to mature slightly larger than a typical Bantam Cochin while maintaining the beautiful, fluffy Cochin type we love. One of the most exciting traits of this line is their eggs, which are known to have a beautiful purplish-toned appearance.

Another interesting observation we have made with this line is that they appear to be sexable at hatch based on comb color. In our hatch observations so far, females have had darker combs while males have had lighter combs. Please note that this is simply an observation we have made from our own hatches and is NOT a guaranteed or scientifically established sexing method.

This is a developing Winnie’s Minis project, and each generation helps us continue working toward establishing and refining these unique traits.

📦 Shipping: Eggs will ship during the spring, approximately mid-to-late spring, via UPS. USPS shipping can be accommodated upon request if preferred.

🥚 As with all shipped hatching eggs, fertility and hatch rates cannot be guaranteed due to the many variables involved with shipping, handling, incubation, and hatching.
