Three episodes of escape artist Harry Houdini&rsquo;s 1919 adventure serial film &ldquo;The Master Mystery,&rdquo; which pits Houdini against a criminal gang led by a mechanical monster, followed by Buster Keaton&rsquo;s 1922 short film &ldquo;Cops,&rdquo; in which Keaton accidentally manages to get himself chased by every cop in Los Angeles.
