Beginner Rug Hooking Workshop

Learn the foundations of rug hooking with local artist Jean Haley in a hands-on setting. You&#39;ll leave with an understanding of important techniques and tricks of the trade along with a personalized mug rug! This Soulcraft Bloomington class roots you in traditional folk craft and community connection. You&rsquo;ll leave with a finished mug rug, a deeper respect for the materials, and skills you can keep building on with a community to support you!&nbsp;

If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please let Monique know! 812-219-7901 The class is held at our new Soulcraft Studio location at 5035 Earl Young Rd. Bloomington, IN 47408.&nbsp; If Google Maps route you to 45 and directly to Earl Young Rd, DO NOT FOLLOW IT unless you are up for an adventerous, extremely steep, one-way gravel road. The MUCH BETTER way to come is to take Bethel Lane to Boltinghouse to Earl Young or Old 37 to Boltinghouse to Earl Young. You can put in Muddy Fork Bakery in Google Maps, then our address, and it will route you the correct way. We also highly recommend stopping by the Bethel Lane Farm Stop on your way in or out, they have great treats and supports local farmers and food makers!&nbsp; The driveway is gravel and steep but not long, so use some speed to get up it! You will see lots of parking and someone will be there to greet you and show you to the studio.&nbsp; Please fill out our new 501c3 waiver of liability and photo release form right away! You need this form filled out in order to participate.
