I never had a say - Six week group

Sibling Support GroupEstrangement doesn’t just happen between a parent and an adult child—it can change the relationships between everyone in the family. Siblings may find themselves caught in the middle, pressured to choose sides, separated from a brother or sister they love, or trying to maintain relationships with both sides without becoming the family messenger. For the Family Foundation’s Sibling Support Group is a space for siblings affected by family estrangement to talk openly about what this experience has meant for them. We’ll explore divided loyalties, grief, anger, changing family roles, boundaries, and how to maintain your own relationships without taking responsibility for repairing everyone else’s. Most importantly, this is a place where siblings finally get to have a voice—because you didn’t create the estrangement, but you’re living with its consequences too. This group will run for 6 weeks.
