In these entwined Butoh performances, renewal is dissolution. The self sheds, fractures, and surrenders to trance. Performers unearth the unseen and unravel into ritual. Ritual becomes an echo of the ancient and fleeting. Ekstasis&mdash;a state of being outside oneself&mdash;emerges in the space between transformation and surrender.&nbsp; Neoma is a Butoh collective that formed from a shared commitment to mindfulness and transformation. Over the course of three performances, Neoma invites you to share in their perpetual unfolding.
