🌲 Woodland Walk &amp; Autumn Olive Clearing 🌲 Join us for a casual afternoon of learning, exploring, and conservation! 📅&nbsp;When: Sunday, September 14th ⏰&nbsp;2:00 &ndash; 4:00 PM (with a fire to follow if weather allows) 💲 $10 per person 📍 Lakeville, IN&nbsp;Address provided after registration This event will be held on privately owned woods enrolled in both the State Classified Forest &amp; Wildlands Program and the Conservation Stewardship Program. We&rsquo;ll kick things off with a 30&ndash;60 minute talk from a retired forester, covering topics like: 🌿 Tree identification 🌿 Invasive species 🌿 Practical tips for recognizing trees and habitats After the talk, we&rsquo;ll head into the woods for hands-on tree ID, habitat exploration, and a group effort to clear out invasive autumn olive. If the weather cooperates, we&rsquo;ll wrap up the afternoon with a fire, hotdogs, chips, and water. Feel free to bring a side dish to share! What to Bring: ✔️ Clippers or other cutting tools ✔️ Work gloves ✔️ Folding chair ✔️ Tick/mosquito spray ✔️ Wear boots, long pants, and sleeves (briars are sharp!) ✨ A wonderful chance to learn, lend a hand, and enjoy the outdoors with friends!
