Join us for an informative workshop at the Indian River County Main Library&nbsp;designed to help you tap into Florida&#39;s education funds for personalized school choice options. On average, families can access about $8,000 to $10,000 per student for private and homeschooling. Over 14 private schools in Indian River County are eligible for the Florida program. -We&#39;ll also share details about the $750 transportation allowance available to families with K-8 nontraditional public school students. -We&#39;ll provide a brief overview of the history of the 6 most utilized funds. -The application (renewal) deadline for the 2026-2027 school year is April 30th, so it&#39;s essential to gather all necessary documentation if you want to complete your application during the workshop. Our guidance is especially valuable if this is your first time. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: A Laptop&nbsp; Required Documents Uploaded to Your Laptop: &nbsp; - Your government-issued ID (front and back)&nbsp; - Your child&#39;s birth certificate or passport&nbsp; - Your child&#39;s social security number&nbsp; - Two proofs of residency for the parent applying&nbsp;&nbsp; - To be added to the income priority, you will need everyone in the household to provide proof of 30 days&#39; income prior to application for all above the age of 18 (These funds are allocated through an income tiered system to manage any potential shortfall, which is unlikely given last year&#39;s surplus.)
