Doctors once warned my parents that I might not survive infancy. Somehow, I&rsquo;m still here.Today, I&rsquo;m an adult living with my native liver, raising my son Enzo, and doing everything I can to turn my experience into something that helps the next family facing biliary atresia.I started advocating because I know what it feels like to grow up with a disease most people have never even heard of. I also know how isolating it can be &mdash; especially when you become an adult and suddenly realize there aren&rsquo;t many people who truly understand what you&rsquo;ve lived through.That&rsquo;s why this pickleball tournament means so much to me. It&rsquo;s not just about playing a game or raising money.
