Dear TRL-CA Supporters,Did you know that YOU can help select California’s next ELA/ELD curriculum?The California Department of Education (CDE) is looking for strong candidates to apply for the 2026 California ELA/ELD Instructional Materials Review Panels. We are reaching out to ask for your help. These panels will play a critical role in ensuring California adopts high-quality, research-aligned materials for TK–8 English Language Arts and English Language Development.The CDE has released an application for two types of applicants.<ol><li>Instructional Materials Reviewers (IMRs) and </li><li>Content Review Experts (CREs) </li></ol>If selected, you will evaluate submissions from publishers in early 2026. Selected panelists will support the Instructional Quality Commission (IQC) and the State Board of Education (SBE) in making adoption recommendations.
