Join Rowan County United Way for Into the Light, our annual Suicide &amp; Mental Health Awareness Walk.Together, we will bring mental health and suicide out of the darkness by remembering and honoring lives lost, joining in fellowship, addressing stigma, connecting our community with resources, and supporting local, accessible mental health treatment programs and services. Event Details📅 Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026&nbsp; ⏰&nbsp;Time: Gates Open: 8 AM; Walk Begins: 9 AM 📍&nbsp;Location: Catawba College Shuford Stadium &nbsp;2295 Yost St., Salisbury, NC 28144 RegistrationEarly Registration:&nbsp;$25 Day-of Registration:&nbsp;$30Registration includes a free Into the Light shirt and bracelet.Children age 5 and under participate at no charge. What to Expect🥞 Complimentary coffee and breakfast will be provided. &nbsp;🚶 Join us for the Into the Light Awareness Walk. &nbsp;💙 A special program will follow the walk.Participants will have an opportunity to come together in remembrance, fellowship, and support while learning more about mental health resources available in our community.
