Join us for a two-part, camping workshop designed to help you build confidence in the outdoors! Come learn practical skills, ask questions, and get ready for your next adventure! No equipment or experience needed.<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Part 1 Saturday, 08/08 - Tent setup and outdoor cooking</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Part 2 Saturday, 09/12 - Wilderness safety and basic first aid</li></ul>Both workshops will be held 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM on their scheduled days.&nbsp; After the workshops, you&#39;ll have an opportunity to put your skills into practice at our beginner-friendly fall camping trip October 09-11 weekend 🏕️🍂 (separate registration required, more info to come).&nbsp; 🚨 Children must attend with a parent/guardian who has purchased a General Admission ticket and may not be left alone during the workshop. Your ticket includes access to both workshops, equipment, and refreshments. 👥 Meet Your Hosts: Mica &amp; Mussaab Mica is a trained pastry chef and outdoor enthusiast with over 15 years of experience blending creativity, craftsmanship, and nature. She enjoys teaching practical outdoor skills and has led community camping trips for groups of up to 20 families. Mussaab has been camping and backpacking since childhood, with adventures across the U.S. and a passion for cycling and climbing. He is Wilderness First Responder certified, currently in leadership training with Tayseer Wilderness, and works with OneWell, helping community nonprofits build financial resiliency. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, they recently relocated to Princeton, New Jersey, where they live with their two daughters. Refund Policy: Refunds may be requested until July 31, 2026 via email (sports@alfalahcenter.org). Refund requests made after July 31, 2026 will not be honored.&nbsp;
