There's no time like right after the midterms to learn how to (effectively) cause trouble. This class will cover the basics of engaging with the US electoral system as a form of harm reduction. We'll cover all the basics you forgot (or never learned) in civics class: the branches and levels of government, how to figure out who ostensibly represents you, and how to pester them into actually representing you and the rest of the kink community. This class is KN95+ required and assumes no prior knowledge and no political affiliation. The first hour will be lecture and Q&A-based, while the second hour will give you the opportunity to put what you learned into practice by writing to your reps. About the educator:In the kink world, Riot (he/him) is a sadistic D-type and wolf player; in the vanilla world, he's a loving dog dad and crafter; and in both worlds, he's a dedicated overthinker, educator, and activist. Ask him about trans male history, public health, flogging, and what the New Urbanism movement could learn from dogs and people with disabilities. You can contact him through his Fetlife profile @ProfessorRiotDog
