&nbsp;Excitement is in the air: fall is almost here! We are getting horses legged up, and hounds fit- that means our 7th season of Wateree Hounds is about to start.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you&#39;ve ever &nbsp;been curious about foxhunting, this one day clinic is for you. You will have mounted lessons, educational talk about clothing/tack, and you will get to expose your horse safely to the pack of foxhounds. Lunch is included, and everyone will go home with a copy of Wadsworth&#39;s Riding to Hounds in America- the foxhunting bible. All clinic participants are also eligible for our discounted first year foxhunter rate. Non mounted individuals are also welcome to participate.&nbsp; Bring water &amp; hay for your horses, and a chair for yourself. Shavings, lunch and drinks are provided. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or preferences.&nbsp;

This annual event is a popular and fun day to learn all about the sport of foxhunting, while exposing your horse to hounds and various obstacles we encounter in the hunt field.&nbsp; Wateree Hounds is a diverse group of individuals with varying equestrian backgrounds.
