Using simple carving tools and soft basswood, you'll learn basic carving techniques, tool safety, and how to create texture, depth, and design through carving. Guided by retired elementary teacher and carving instructor Kevin, you'll receive step-by-step instruction and individualized support as you transform a simple design into a handcrafted piece of wall art. The slow, hands-on process of carving offers a creative, screen-free experience that many people find both relaxing and rewarding.
