We all long for inner stillness of heart but how do we find our way there? &nbsp;This retreat will introduce you to the teachings and practices of the C&eacute;ile D&eacute;, a contemplative tradition rooted in the language, lore, and landscape of the Gaelic speaking lands; a tradition that teaches how to find Samchrideach (peace of heart) through practices of meditation, self witnessing, and &#39;reading the scripture of nature.&#39; In this 24 hour retreat, we&#39;ll hold silence between the teaching sessions and you&#39;ll learn ways to read and tend your own inner landscape as well as learn how the seasons of the year can inform your cycles of inner growth through the years. &nbsp; Teachings will include learning to cultivate silence by setting aside time to meditate, learning a sacred chant and walking meditation, practicing awareness of your inner state, nurturing and strengthening your heart through earth based practices, and cultivating a sense of courage of the heart through the mythic story of Brighid and the protection of her mantle. &nbsp; Sessions will run from 3 to 8:00 on Friday, March 6 and from 9 to 4:30 on Saturday, March 7. &nbsp;
