Join us at a Revolutionary Tavern Talk 🍻&mdash;an evening of history, conversation, and community in the heart of downtown Mount Holly. Reserve a seat for an engaging evening of history, conversation, and craft beer as novelist Michael C. Gabriele presents highlights from his book Colonial Taverns of New Jersey: Libations, Liberty &amp; Revolution. His talk will explore the vital role of New Jersey&rsquo;s taverns as social, political, and military hubs during the colonial era. About the Author:&nbsp;This is Michael C. Gabriele&#39;s fifth book on New Jersey history, all published by Arcadia Publishing/The History Press. A lifelong Garden State resident, he is a 1975 graduate of Montclair State University and has worked as a journalist, freelance writer and author for more than 40 years. About the Brewery:Founded in 2013 on High Street in Mount Holly, NJ, the Village Idiot Brewing Company is a pioneering microbrewery, the first in Burlington County. &nbsp;It was started by local homebrewers, Vince Masciandaro and partner Rich Palmay. &nbsp;After the tragic passing of Rich in 2015, Vince continues to operate the brewery keeping its independent, nostalgic charm &amp; credited in helping to revitalize downtown Mount Holly. &nbsp;The brewery is able to frequently change taps with unique flavors and traditional ales. &nbsp;Open Thursdays- Sundays. So, purchase your ticket today to eat, drink, and be merry just like the earliest colonists did in Mount Holly. &nbsp;Each ticket includes a buffet menu: &nbsp;Donkey&rsquo;s cheesesteaks, tossed salad, Philly Soft Pretzels, cookies from the Sweet Spot and two craft beers of your choice. Water and soda will also be available. &nbsp;Ticket sales support future history talks and the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Petticoat Bridge Re-enactment in Springfield, December 12, 2026, at 10 AM.
