ICYC provides an inclusive and complete choral experience for young singers through culturally diverse repertoire from varied traditions. Rehearsals include pedagogically appropriate musical activities with a commitment to excellence and cooperation. Each ensemble rehearses weekly and schedules performances throughout the community. In addition, all ensembles participate in two collaborative performances a year, and typically offers an all-chorus retreat in the fall and spring. <div>Chorale</div><div>Chorale offers more advanced instruction in choral singing for youth in grades 6th-12th. In addition to a greater focus on musical literacy the repertoire in this ensemble expands to include additional musical styles, and more complex rhythms and harmonies, while centering the joy and community that comes from being a part of a choral ensemble.</div>
