Jack the Musical (World Premiere – Semi-Staged Reading)February 15 at 2:30 PM Join us for the world premiere of Jack the Musical, a joyful, laugh-out-loud retelling of the classic English folktale Lazy Jack, written by Lisa Davis. This semi-staged reading brings the story to life with professional adult performers, live music, and theatrical storytelling, while keeping the focus on imagination, heart, and the power of a great story. Perfect for families, Jack the Musical follows a well-meaning young man who sets out to find work, makes plenty of mistakes along the way, and slowly learns to trust his own problem-solving skills. Each misadventure becomes a lesson in perseverance, creativity, and growth, all told with humor, catchy songs, colorful characters, and plenty of moments that delight both kids and adults . This special performance is a fundraiser in support of the Arts Hub Capital Campaign, helping to ensure that our community continues to have access to inspiring performances, arts education, and new works like this one. Come be part of something truly special: the very first public presentation of a brand-new musical, designed to spark laughter, curiosity, and conversation for audiences of all ages.
