They will also be able to choose from MANY different activities such as sports, arts and crafts, games, drama team, teen talent show, a songwriting workshop, a baking and sugar cookie decorating class, a STEM project and competition, photography and much more! Here is some important information about the event. 1. Transportation: We do have RT bus transportation from several major military communities in Europe to the camp facility. Although we fundraise about 75% of the total cost of the bus to keep your costs low, we ask the parents to purchase a ticket for the bus which is only $30 round trip. This is to ensure that we have a seat reserved for each student who needs to take the bus and that the family does not decide to skip the bus in favor of dropping the student off without notifying us. We usually have a waiting list for the bus so you can get your ticket refunded if you decide to drop your student off instead -- that will open up a seat for someone else. We have vans that serve N. Italy and arrangements will be made for students in remote locations (Belgium, Poland, Netherlands, UK and Sicily, Italy). Cancellations: Space is very limited at the camps and we must prepay your child&#39;s room and board at the facility. Activities: There is plenty to do at our camps! We are offering more and greater variety of activities this year than ever before. There are two optional activities that your child can participate in if they choose to. There will be other activities offered if they choose not to. However, to ensure we do not increase the camp costs for everyone, we ask you pay for that camp activity separately. This can be done anytime between now and June 1. As with all of our reservations, as is typical in Europe, we must prepay our vendors so we ask that all activities be paid for by midnight (CET) on June 1. Please note that activities cannot be added on at the camp and refunds if the child changes his/her mind are not permitted because we will have already reserved our numbers and paid for their spot. If your student needs a &quot;refill&quot; of their punch card, they can call or text you from one of the worker&#39;s phones and you can purchase the additional amount on our website. Each punch card has your child&#39;s name, room number and group leader name on it to deter loss or theft. Punch cards are valid only for goods at Jacob&#39;s General Store at camp and, although we WILL carry over unused cards to the next camp, we will not be able to issue refunds for unused punches. Please note that the bus schedule cannot be put out before registration is full (or nearly full) because the locations the bus needs to pick up will changed based on where we have students registered from. We want to be sure the bus schedule we give you is accurate! We have changed our camp start date to a Sunday so that more parents can get their students to the bus stop without having to take time off of work. The return will be on Friday morning (departing Austria) so that the first return stop will be mid-afternoon. We changed our camp schedule to ensure that the majority of parents could easily get their students to and from the scheduled bus stops.
