JASON’S CHILDREN with special guest LONESOME TURNPIKE RAMBLERS Friday, October 16, 2026 | 8:00 PM The Royal Music & Arts Center Born from a shared love of the Grateful Dead, Jason’s Children first came together as a dedicated Dead cover project. As the chemistry between the musicians grew, so did the music.Today, the band moves far beyond one catalog, blending classic rock, ’80s soul, funk, country, reggae, and more into sets that are familiar, unpredictable, and built around the energy of the room.Rather than simply recreating the records, Jason’s Children treats each song as a starting point — leaving space for extended grooves, spontaneous arrangements, vocal interplay, and the kind of musical exploration that makes every show a little different. The band features:Keith Galle — guitar & vocals Bernie Gillespie — guitar & vocals Rico Joseph — bass & vocals John Knob — keyboards & vocals Paul Brady — saxophone & flute Bridgett Gordon — percussion & vocals Kate Klemm — vocals Jeff Dischert — percussion With roots firmly planted in the improvisational tradition of the Grateful Dead, Jason’s Children brings together rock, soul, funk, country, reggae, and plenty of surprises along the way.
