Welcome back! We’re so grateful for your continued commitment to our school community. As a returning PTO member, your experience and leadership are incredibly valuable, and we’re excited to build on last year’s momentum together. Here’s what to expect moving forward:
🆕 1. A Fresh Start with New Goals
- While you know the ropes, each year brings new goals, events, and opportunities.
- We’ll revisit our mission, evaluate what worked well last year, and introduce any updates to priorities or procedures.
🤝 2. Leadership & Mentorship Opportunities
- Returning members often serve as informal leaders or mentors to newer members.
- You may be asked to chair a committee, co-lead an event, or help orient incoming volunteers.
🗓️ 3. Continued Involvement in Meetings & Planning
- Regular PTO meetings will continue monthly and your voice will help guide decisions.
- Expect to stay involved in event planning, and setting the overall tone for the year.
🛠️ 4. Improved Systems or Tools
- We may introduce new communication platforms, sign-up systems, or updated procedures to make our work smoother.
- If there are changes (e.g., new event formats, digital tools), you’ll be supported with training or walkthroughs.
📣 5. Opportunities to Share Feedback
- Your insights from past years are essential to improving how we operate.
- You’ll have chances to reflect on past events, suggest changes, and help refine the PTO’s approach moving forward.
🧡 6. Continued Impact
- Your involvement continues to support teacher needs, school improvements, student enrichment, and family engagement.
- Your experience helps ensure that the PTO remains strong, organized, and effective.
⏳ 7. Respect for Your Time & Balance
- We recognize that your time is valuable, and we want you to feel comfortable contributing at a level that works for you. Whether you're able to take on a leadership role or just help occasionally, every bit of your involvement makes a meaningful impact.
- The great news? Participating in PTO activities is also a fantastic way to earn your 10 volunteer hours required by Jehovah Jireh. From helping at events, and aiding in fundraising there are plenty of flexible opportunities to get involved and make a difference—on your schedule.
- We’re grateful to have you with us and look forward to working together this year!
