Join the John Coltrane Jazz WorkshopCelebrate the spirit of jazz in John Coltrane&rsquo;s hometown of High Point, NC! The John Coltrane Jazz Workshop brings young musicians together each July at Penn Griffin School for the Arts for a week of creativity, collaboration, and performance. Designed for rising 7th&ndash;12th graders, this immersive program explores jazz improvisation, musicianship, and Coltrane&rsquo;s enduring legacy&mdash;guided by talented local artists. The week ends with a live concert showcasing students&rsquo; hard work and passion. This year, HPAC is proud to announce our program partner, Gant School of Music and Jazz, under the direction of musician and educator Titus Gant.&nbsp; Special thanks to our program supporter, The Masland Foundation. The workshop runs Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24, 2026 (9AM - 2 PM daily) with a student performance at 7 PM Friday, July 24, 2026.
