By joining ACT, your theatre (educational, community, or professional) becomes part of a collaborative, creative network that shares festival experiences, educational opportunities, and networks to help theatre thrive in Alabama. The organizational member of ACT includes membership for one named delegate. (Additional organizational delegates should join as individuals.)

Whether you are part of a theatre, a theatre artist, a supportive theatre parent, or a theatre enthusiast, ACT adult membership brings you into a vibrant community dedicated to keeping theatre strong.

Individual performers, playwrights, etc., who are not directly affiliated with an organization are welcome and encouraged to join. All participating faculty, adult actors, and crew of a theatre or school must be members of ACT to participate in an ACT festival. This fee also applies to additional sponsors, faculty directors, professors, community theatre actors, designers, chaperones, and parents.

All high school students (9th through 12th grade) must be members of ACT to participate in an ACT event. This fee applies to auditionees, workshop participants, actors or crew, playwrights, etc. who are enrolled in an academic institution, including public, private, or homeschools.

All elementary & middle school students (4th through 8th grade) must be members of ACT to participate in an ACT event. This fee applies to auditionees, workshop participants, actors or crew, playwrights, etc. who are enrolled in an academic institution, including public, private, or homeschools, or community/professional theatre education programs.
