Along the way well delve into the ancient, worldwide art of natural dyeing, peruse Jude&#39;s dye records books, naturally dyed finished and ongoing projects. Note-taking encouraged. About the Teacher!Mainer Jude Hsiang was born knitting and has been exploring natural dyeing for 50 years, teaching for 20. &nbsp;She is particularly interested in dyeing Maine fibers sourced from farmer friends with plants from her dye garden and locally foraged. She also uses natural fibers and dyes from other parts of the world. A former shepherd and lifelong gardener, Jude retired as a botany instructor with the UConn Extension Master Gardener Program.
