The event is happening on June 10 and will be held on one of Maine&rsquo;s Casco Bay Islands, Long Island at the Community Center.&nbsp; We have chartered a Casco Bay ferry to bring you out to and back from the island, this ride is included in your ticket price. We have reserved a block of tickets for Long Island residents who don&rsquo;t need to take the ferry over to purchase the day of the event. We ask that Island residents arrive at or after 5:20 to purchase their ticket and have their IDs checked. Due to the regular municipal ferry schedule, this Greendrinks event has a slightly different timeline. This timeline is outlined below:- The ferry will leave from Casco Bay Lines at 4:50pm, be ready to board at 4:30pm. We will check tickets and IDs prior to boarding.&nbsp;- The ferry ride is ~30-40 minutes and our event will begin once you arrive on the island.- The ferry will leave the island at 7:40pm, and will arrive at Casco bay lines around 8:10pm.&nbsp;- There is only one regular municipal scheduled ferry leaving Long Island at 7:35 pm, just a few minutes before our charter ferry. However, if you&#39;d like to leave early water taxis can be called to bring you back to the Portland at your own cost. One of our first efforts was to launch a Water Quality Monitoring Program to assess the health of the Bay. Informed by the scientific data that our staff collect and the observations our volunteers collect, our Baykeeping Program advocates for solutions to problems threatening our waters. Our other programs include Water Reporter&mdash;a program where volunteers have a meaningful, positive impact on our efforts to advocate for solutions and protect the health of our coastal waters, our vessel Pumpout Service&mdash;to help boaters be better stewards of our environment, and numerous volunteer projects. We are a founding member of Waterkeeper&reg; Alliance.&nbsp;
