   • Boards that lead with purpose work as a team. In this session, individuals seeking to maximize the strengths and effectiveness of executive and board leadership will learn the complementary yet distinct roles that staff and board members play in nonprofit organizations.
3. Building a Thriving Board
   • In this session, individuals looking to improve the composition and functionality of a nonprofit board will learn best practices in recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and how to build a thriving Board culture.
4. Setting Vision and Strategy
   • In this session, individuals looking to understand the board’s responsibility in setting vision and planning for a sustainable future will learn the four essential pillars of nonprofit organizational health and how to apply strategic planning best practices in each.
5. Fundraising Essentials for Board Members
   • In this session, individuals looking to fulfill the fundraising responsibilities of nonprofit board membership will learn successful ways to engage in the four-part fundraising process.
6. Increasing Engagement in the Board Room
   • This session explains what makes board members engage or disengage in board meetings and what Executive Directors and Board leaders can do about it.
