The Junior Thespian District Festival is a day of creativity, learning, and community where middle school theatre students share acting, musical theatre, improv, and technical theatre presentations. Students receive feedback and ratings from adjudicators, watch other students perform, and celebrate their hard work alongside fellow young theatre artists. Chaperones help supervise Spotlight students throughout the day, make sure they arrive at their assigned events on time, and assist with transitions, meal breaks, and keeping the group together. They also help students follow festival and school rules and communicate any concerns to the troupe director. It’s a wonderful way to support our students and enjoy a day of theatre!
