General Raffle Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all raffles conducted by KaneFest.

By purchasing a raffle ticket, accepting a complimentary ticket, or participating in any raffle conducted by KaneFest, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the Official Rules.

1. Eligibility

Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age unless otherwise stated for a specific raffle.

Participants must be legally eligible to participate under applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Void where prohibited by law.

Employees, organizers, officers, volunteers, and immediate family members of KaneFest may participate only if permitted by applicable law and disclosed in the specific raffle announcement.

2. Raffle Period

Each raffle shall have its own start date, end date, drawing date, prize description, and ticket price.

The applicable raffle details will be published in promotional materials, social media posts, ticket listings, or event announcements.

3. Ticket Sales

Ticket purchases are final.

No refunds will be issued unless required by law.

Lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized tickets are void.

A ticket is valid only if recorded by KaneFest in its official raffle records.

4. Prize Awards

Winners will receive the prize described in the raffle announcement.

No substitution, transfer, or exchange of prizes is permitted except at the sole discretion of KaneFest.

KaneFest reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

5. Winner Selection

Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received before the raffle closing time.

Drawings may be conducted in person, electronically, or by another random selection method determined by KaneFest.

The Organizer’s decision is final regarding winner selection and prize distribution.

6. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted using the information provided at the time of entry.

If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the specified timeframe, or is determined ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Prize Claim

Winners may be required to provide identification before receiving a prize.

Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited after thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated.

8. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, reporting obligations, or other expenses associated with receiving or using a prize.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners grant KaneFest permission to use their name, city of residence, photograph, likeness, and prize information for promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

Participants agree to release and hold harmless KaneFest, its organizers, officers, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability arising from participation in a raffle or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

11. Modification or Cancellation

KaneFest reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel any raffle if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the raffle.

12. Governing Law

All raffles shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

How to Enter

Purchase the designated raffle ticket(s) during the advertised raffle period.

Each ticket purchased constitutes one entry unless otherwise specified.

Entries must be received before the published raffle closing date and time.

Drawing

The drawing will occur on the announced date.

Winners need not be present to win unless expressly stated otherwise in the raffle advertisement.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Prize

The prize description, approximate retail value (if applicable), and any restrictions will be identified in the specific raffle announcement.

Prizes are awarded “as-is” without warranties except those provided by the manufacturer, if any.

Verification

Winners may be required to verify eligibility and identity.

Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Disqualification

KaneFest reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

Violates these rules;

Provides false information;

Attempts to tamper with the raffle process; or

Engages in fraudulent or unlawful conduct.

Final Authority

All decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, prize awards, and rule interpretation are final and binding.
