L-Town Adult Players (ages 18+) Have you always wanted to act, or are you looking to sharpen your performance skills? Brought to you in partnership with&nbsp;Future Hearts, Minds &amp; Dreamers, this acting class for adults is designed for performers of all experience levels who want to explore the craft in a supportive and collaborative environment.&nbsp; Participants will develop essential acting techniques through audition preparation, cold reads, script and character analysis, stage movement, voice and projection exercises, improvisation, and theatre theory. Through scenes, monologues, and ensemble work, students will build confidence, strengthen their stage presence, and learn how to create authentic, compelling performances.&nbsp; Whether you&#39;re preparing for community theatre, film and commercial auditions, or simply looking for a creative outlet, this class provides the skills and encouragement to help you grow as an actor.&nbsp; Cost: $227 per participantWe have a limited number of scholarships available. I hold my B.A. In English &amp; Theatre Arts from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and my M.A. in Acting from The University of Essex-East 15 Acting School. I co created the Ojai Youth Entertainers Studio, Glass Moon Theatre Company &amp; Future Hearts, Minds &amp; Dreamers. I have been teaching theatrical arts such as: dancing, acting, singing, public speaking, playwriting, technical theatre, directing, film &amp; photography since 2008, in public, private &amp; charter schools, to ages Prek-Seniors. I have had the privilege to work with some amazing schools and communities like: Ojai Valley School, Denver Public Schools, Boulder Valley Schools, Friends School, Charter School Network in Colorado, Ojai Unified School District, Charter Schools of Arizona, Kaiser Permanente, Creative Dance Kids and Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids.
