Join us for a presentation by Justice Shama Mesiwala, Third District Court of Appeal. The Central California Appellate Program will also introduce attendees to California&#39;s Court-Appointed Counsel Program, the statewide system through which the courts appoint counsel to represent indigent appellants, and will explain how attorneys can join the appellate panel. CCAP administers the program for the Third and Fifth Appellate Districts. Co-sponsored by the Appellate Section of the Sacramento Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Sacramento, SacValley ABOTA, and Judicate West.
